I cannot speak highly enough of Coach Mike and the BYU team! My son just started playing basketball this year. Being new to the game, they were able to not only get him up to speed with the rest of his peers, but he finished the season like he had been playing for years! The private one on one lessons really made such a difference in his learning of the game as well as his confidence. Most importantly he had fun! We recently held my son's 7th birthday party at Build Yourself Up. To say that the kids (and adults!) had an amazing, fun-filled time would be an understatement. The coaches at Build Yourself Up tailor each party to the birthday kid's wishes. My son's was themed around sports. The coaches engaged everyone (including parents who stayed for the party) in high-energy, fun activities for the duration. They are great with kids and make sure that everyone is included. Highly recommend this place for birthday parties - and for their camp/clinic experiences! I recently hired Build Yourself Up for a private class for 20 kids between the ages of 2-7 and they were AMAZING!! Coach Michael and Coach Kase kept the kids attention the whole time. They played great games, engaged the kids of all ages (which was not easy) and did it with the biggest smiles. They brought all the equipment and great music. We had my son’s birthday party this past summer and Coach Mike and Coach Bev did such an amazing job with the kids. He had so much fun, that we’ve been back for summer camp, camp during the school breaks, and will be signing him up for many more! He looks forward to going each and every time! His face lights up when he tells me about his day when he gets home. He tells us all about the fun games they play, the yummy food they make, the great art projects they create, fun science experiments and STEM projects they do. He even had the courage to join the talent show at summer camp and that says a lot about how amazing the coaches are! They get the kids involved to try new things while having fun doing it.
